Interfaith Hospitality Network 2012

 

 

   Thanks to everyone who helped with our first hosting of guests for the Interfaith Hospitality Network at the Swarthmore Presbyterian Church on Friday, January 20.  Four families in transition, five adults and five children, were provided with a secure place to rest and delicious meals during their week at Swarthmore Presbyterian—with their congregation providing most of the hosting that week.  If you did not have the opportunity to serve this past month, there will be more opportunities throughout 2012 as the need for temporary shelter is not going away.  We will be hosting IHN on the following dates in 2012:  May 4, June 22, and November 2.  Please let Janice Ciampa know if you would like to volunteer for this important mission to our neighbors in Delaware County.
